You’ve spent years building the skills necessary to get to where you want to go in your life and have overcome MAJOR challenges. You are resourced, creative and know you bring great value to any table you sit at. But you still aren’t happy.

People turn to you in your friend/family circle when crisis hits–you are the go-to. You have a higher vision about the circle of life and death and you have a peace about it that not many people understand.  

You’ve been labeled “too sensitive” or “different” and are the first one within your family to intentionally seek a healing path (early in your life).

Now you are searching for what to do next to level-up in your life, and planning for a better job is not filling the void. You want to make a real difference and you are inspired to help people at the end of life. 

But you wonder, “how in the world can I do that in my own unique way, without working within an organization?”

I was this woman. 

I loved being a hospice nurse. And in my experience in oncology and hospice I saw a huge hole in the system where people were flailing–that time period from when treatments begin to stop working and going on to hospice. I knew I wanted to do something about THAT.

But it was outside the scope of my hospice role. When it dawned on me that my life’s work was actually in that dark space where people were dying before hospice, nothing could stop me. 

I just didn’t know how in the world to make it all happen. And I spent more than a few years figuring it out. Nothing could stop me. 

After years learning the hard way, I have created a business system that allows me to use all my skills and serve EXACTLY how I want, on my terms and fitting perfectly within MY life. I can’t tell you the joy i feel when someone releases that great big sigh of relief, when they know I have their back.

And it all started with owning my own End-Of-Life Doula service. 

The best part is – although my personal story started in the medical field – you do NOT have to have any medical training of any kind to give back in this way because this is a Non-Medical role. 

This work has been the most rewarding work I have ever done–even more than the hospice nursing I did for 15 years.

Knowing I’ve made a difference in the suffering of a dying person and helping the family cope deeply moves me, especially at a time when they need more than healthcare services can provide.

I felt that sense of meaning as a hospice nurse too. It’s just now I get to be impactful without all the organizational bureaucratic protocols that kept me from serving how I dreamed of in nursing school.  

I have created a simple process that allows other people to leverage the skills they gathered over their careers and life and launch their own End-Of-Life Doula service in a no-nonsense approach.

People are out there right now, in their circles, transforming lives, impacting one family at a time AND their community using my system. They are on their own path of lifelong learning and they also have an exact step-by-step blueprint on how to start their own service and begin really helping people. They’re finally in their own bliss.

This system works even if you have NEVER worked in the medical system or started a business on your own. And what’s very cool about this is It works for experienced and licensed healthcare professionals too! And they KNOW they can make a difference outside the system. 

The BEST part about this ‘business’ is that it really is NOT a business per se. I use longtime business principles and the wisdom of the human experience and ‘ mulch it’ it for us in the end-of-life field.. There are nuances to a service like this that you must know.  

Depending on your situation, you can get out there quickly once you have all the pieces in place and as long as you know what you are doing. But please don’t leave your day job just yet, as this is something you will work into. People tell me all the time, “I just want my own little practice.”

And I’ll tell you, working as an end-of-life doula for 20 years, people who are the “go to” in their families are in every occupation under the sun. When we talk, they just “know” they are good at being there. Please hear me that it really doesn’t matter at all what your background is. 

You know when you have this special way about you and others know it too. It doesn’t matter if you are in the trades, in corporate, licensed health care role or higher education.

What matters is WHY you get up in the morning and that’s what this service is all about.
